That They May All Be One

Message Notes

Throughout God’s world, Christian Churches celebrate the Eucharist as one family dining together in one room under one roof. Our sisters and brothers in Africa, Europe, Central America, Asia, the Middle East, and in all lands and countries join us in lifting the bread of life and the cup of salvation.. Neither powers or principalities shall stop us nor deter our purpose, our sense of mission, or our challenge to go forth as disciples into every town, village, and crossroad proclaiming the love of Christ for all creation. In Christ’s love there is no East, no West, no North, no South, but only one Spirit of hope, love, and peace for all. Let us praise Christ!

20 “I ask not only on behalf of these but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 The glory that you have given me I have given them, so that they may be one, as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

John 17:20-23
